Tune your headphones with the best judge you already own: your ears.
EQ Sweep plays a clean test tone that follows your finger from deep bass to the top of the treble. Sweep slowly and listen. Wherever the sound jumps out or drops away, mark it: START, TOP and END around what you hear become an EQ band with matching frequency, gain and width.
HOW IT WORKS
• Sweep - drag the frequency tape and listen for peaks and dips.
• Mark - set START, TOP and END. The third mark adds a band, up to 10 bands.
• Refine - adjust frequency, gain and Q, switch single bands or the whole EQ off to compare. The preamp sets itself, or you set it by hand.
• Save - keep as many profiles as you like, then switch, rename and manage them in one place.
TAKE IT ANYWHERE
• Parametric EQ text for Equalizer APO, AutoEQ and Squiglink.
• GraphicEQ file for Wavelet on Android.
• Backup files to keep versions or move your profiles to another phone.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no analytics. The app has no internet access. Your profiles stay on your phone until you export or copy them.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Start at a low volume. Test tones can sound loud - protect your hearing.
• For the most accurate result, use wired headphones or switch off Dolby Atmos, Adapt Sound and other sound effects.
• EQ Sweep builds the EQ. To hear it in all your music, load the export into your EQ app (for example Wavelet) or into Equalizer APO on a PC.

Tune your headphones by ear: sweep a tone, mark peaks, export a parametric EQ.
