About this app

Received a strange message? When in doubt, ask Faro.

Faro is your personal anti-scam agent. Paste the message text, the link, the number, or the Pix key, and in seconds, it will tell you if it looks like a scam, explain why, and show you what to do next. No beating around the bush: verdict first, explanation later.

SNEEKS IT INSTANTLY
• WhatsApp scam: fake relative, fake delivery person, fake bank call center
• Fake link and phishing: find out if a link is safe before clicking
• Pix scam: check the recipient's Pix key
• Unknown number: see if the caller looks like a scammer
• Fake websites and promotions too good to be true
• Three clear answers: Scam, Suspicious, or No signs of scam

BEFORE PIX
Transferring money to someone you don't know well? Answer three quick questions, provide the recipient's key, and Faro will tell you if you can proceed or if it's better to stop and confirm.

DAILY PROTECTION
Let Faro be on guard: it alerts you when something looks like a scam and sends you warnings so you don't fall for it.

SOS: FELL FOR A SCAM?

Breathe. Faro shows you a calm step-by-step process, in the right order: call the bank, request the Pix MED (Medical Clearance Document), block the card, change passwords, file a police report, and notify your contacts.

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY
One real scam a day to train your eye. Get it right, maintain the sequence, and become increasingly difficult to fool.

PRIVACY IS PART OF THE PROTECTION
Faro analyzes, responds to, and doesn't save your conversations: the conversations stay only on your phone. You can delete everything, or the entire account, whenever you want.

MADE FOR EVERYONE
Simple language and direct answers, without technical jargon. Great for you and for installing on your parents' and grandparents' phones.

Faro never claims anything is 100% safe: if money is involved, it always reminds you to confirm through another channel. Scammers count on your haste. Faro gives you a few seconds of calm.

Faro: your personal anti-scam agent.
