Every day, five items hit the board. You get four flips.
Buy an item. Three buyers are waiting to make an offer, one at a time. Take the first number, or pass and hope the next one's better — but once you walk, that offer is gone for good.
That's it. That's the whole game. And it's harder than it sounds.
WHAT YOU'RE ACTUALLY READING
Every item ships with an asking price, an appraisal range, and a market trend — HOT, COLD, VOLATILE, or STABLE. A HOT item's best offer usually comes last. A COLD one usually front-loads. VOLATILE means the trend is lying to you on purpose. Your job is to read the tell and decide when the deal in front of you is the best deal you're going to get.
What you can't see: whether the item is genuine. Most are. One in twenty is a convincing fake worth nothing at all — and it'll appraise exactly like the real thing right up until you're holding it. Buy Authenticity intel if you want to know before you commit.
TWELVE BUYERS, TWELVE HABITS
Every buyer has a name, a face, and a pattern — an early bird who front-loads their best number, a late closer who makes you wait for it, a middleman who never surprises you either way. Deal with the same buyer enough and you'll learn which one they are; deal with them enough more and they'll start telling you things outright.
STREAKS, LEAGUES, AND A LEADERBOARD THAT ISN'T ABOUT VOLUME
Play every day and your streak multiplies what you bank. Miss a day and a grace period covers you — once. Rank is profit per flip, not total flips, so grinding five mediocre deals never outranks one player who read the board right twice. Climb from Bronze to Diamond against the same pool of players, promoted and relegated weekly.
THE WEEKEND CHALLENGE
Once a week, one item is marked special. Buy it, and instead of selling it, hold onto it. Still holding it when the weekend opens earns you a bonus flip nobody else's board has — and a shot at that week's leaderboard.
A COLLECTION WORTH FINISHING
Every item you've ever handled is tracked — traded, vaulted, or walked away from. A handful are grails: rare enough that finding one is worth noticing.
No energy refills to buy. No pay-to-win shortcut through the read. Four flips a day, the same board everyone in your league sees, and whatever you make of it.
Read the market. Meet the buyer. Take the deal or walk. One board a day.
