About this app

FloorCheck replaces the clipboard on the production line. Operators run the plant's quality checks on the phones and tablets you already own, and every answer is checked against its limits the moment it's recorded.

• Checks for any process: first-piece approval, in-process dimensions, torque audits, fill weights, cap and seal, metal detector verification, allergen changeovers, safety walks, or build your own with numbers, limits, pick-lists, pass/marginal/fail ratings on your own scale, photos and pass/reject pictures.

• Label checks: photograph a label and the phone reads it on the device, with no connection, and compares it with the approved label: product, barcode, best-by from the shelf life, and date codes built from the day, shift and line. It shows what the label actually says when something differs, and the operator always makes the call.

• Catch problems as they happen: a failed check asks what was done about it, a critical one puts product on hold, and control charts flag a reading drifting toward a limit before it leaves spec.

• Scales (beta) and scanners: connect a Bluetooth scale, or a scale with an RS-232 port through a Bluetooth adapter. The setup recognizes Mettler Toledo, Kern, A&D, Ohaus, Sartorius, SMA and Toledo continuous output, and checks the scale against a known weight. Scale support is in beta: run the setup with yours first, or type weights. Camera and Zebra scanners read barcodes, GS1 case labels and date codes.

• Audit-ready records: who, when, which line, product and lot, every answer and its limits, corrective actions, holds and supervisor sign-off. Share an audit report or spreadsheet in seconds.

• Built for shared devices: each person signs in with a PIN, the app signs them out after a few idle minutes, and a tablet can be a station for one line.

• Works without a connection: everything is saved on the device. Back up to Google Drive or Files whenever you like.
