Got a video, photo, voice note or message forwarded to you? ForwardCheck tells you in simple words whether it's true, and shows you exactly how it knows.
Early access: new checks are invite-only
Anyone can open ForwardCheck checks that are shared with them, with no sign-in. Sign in, free, to look up forwards someone has already checked. Running new checks on your own forwards needs an invite for now. You can ask to join in the app; we let people in a few at a time and can't promise when. Got an invite code? Enter it after you sign in.
Share it straight from your chat and video apps, or paste it in. ForwardCheck looks at the video frame by frame, listens to what is said, lists every claim, and checks each one against official records, independent fact-checkers and news organisations.
Every check gives you:
• A clear answer: True, False, Misleading, Missing context and more, with a 0–100 dial showing how sure we are
• A short summary anyone can understand, from a teenager to a grandparent
• Where a video really comes from, when old footage is shared as new
• Every source, so you can see for yourself
• A kind, ready-to-send reply for your family group
• Follow-up questions answered from the report's own sources (members)
• English and Hindi
Fair to everyone
A separate fairness check removes loaded words and checks that sources are balanced. ForwardCheck applies the same standard to every party, religion and community.
Made with AI, backed by sources
Reports are written with the help of AI, which can make mistakes. That's why every claim links to the sources behind it.
Already checked? Instant answer
If someone has checked the same forward before, you see the answer straight away, with the date it was checked.
Your privacy
Uploaded files are deleted after the check. Reports never show who asked. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
