About this app

GarageOS runs the day-to-day of a car garage. A booking comes in, the car arrives at the counter, a job card opens, work is recorded against it, an estimate goes to the customer for approval, and the whole thing ends as a GST invoice. One trail, one app, no register.

Built for independent garages and small workshop chains in India.

RECEIVE THE VEHICLE PROPERLY
Every car is photographed on arrival — front, rear, both sides and the odometer — before a job card can open. Fuel level, existing scratches and dents, and the accessories in the car are recorded at the same time. The customer confirms the handover with a code sent to their phone. When somebody comes back three weeks later about a mark on the bumper, there is a photograph with a timestamp.

JOB CARDS THAT MATCH THE FLOOR
See what is in the garage, what is waiting for approval, what is in progress and what is ready for delivery. Assign work to a mechanic. Add an issue found mid-job. Photograph the work as it happens.

ESTIMATES THE CUSTOMER ACTUALLY APPROVES
Build an estimate from your own parts list and labour rates, send it, and let the customer accept or decline each line. Approved work becomes tasks; declined work is recorded as declined, so nobody argues later about what was agreed.

BILLING WITH GST DONE RIGHT
Invoices carry your garage name, GSTIN, HSN codes and per-line tax. Numbering runs in your own series and never repeats. Record cash, UPI, card or credit against a bill, in part or in full.

STOCK THAT REFLECTS THE SHELF
Parts with purchase cost and selling price, receipts from suppliers, issues to job cards, and a low-stock list that tells you what to reorder before the Saturday rush. Stock is an append-only ledger — every movement has a reason and stays readable months later.

REMINDERS THAT BRING WORK BACK
The app builds tomorrow's follow-up list overnight: insurance about to expire, PUC about to expire, services becoming due. This is repeat revenue that is otherwise lost to a diary nobody opens.

SEND THE MESSAGE YOURSELF
Booking confirmations, estimates, "your car is ready" and renewal reminders are prepared for you and sent from your own WhatsApp or your own SMS app, with one tap. The customer sees your number, not a shortcode. Nothing is sent behind your back.

WORKS ON A WEAK CONNECTION
The garage floor is not a data centre. Reception photos, job card updates and task completions are queued on the device and go up when the network returns.

ENGLISH AND GUJARATI
Screens, messages and invoices in either language. A mechanic can work in Gujarati while the invoice prints in English.

ROLES, SO PEOPLE SEE THEIR OWN WORK
Owner, service manager, sales and mechanic. A mechanic opens the jobs assigned to them; an owner sees the money. Nobody sees another garage's data — that separation is enforced by the system, not by a setting somebody can change.

WHAT YOU NEED
An account with a garage that uses GarageOS. Sign in is by a one-time code on your mobile number; there is no password to forget or to leak. If your garage does not use GarageOS yet, you can register one from the app.

NO ADVERTISING
There is no advertising in GarageOS, no tracking for advertising, and nothing here is sold to anyone.
