A feed with no bottom can never let you finish — the longer it keeps you, the more there is to sell you. This one ends, and when it ends you're caught up. No ads in the feed, no paywall behind it.
Same swipe your thumb already knows. A doomscrolling alternative doesn't have to mean putting the phone down — here it just means the scroll ends, and every card in it is real reporting with a source you can open.
Your time, not the feed's
Your Daily Brief arrives at a time you pick. Set it for 7am and it's your morning brief with the first coffee; set it for 6pm and it's the day, wrapped. Story cards you swipe through, each one a brief news summary written from real reporting. 5 minute news that stops when it's done: no infinite scroll waiting underneath, no "you might also like" to fall into. TLDR news, except the reporting is still attached.
