Nature Photo GPS Tracker is a location logging tool for nature observations and standalone-camera photography. It helps match GPS positions to photo capture times before you prepare observations for iNaturalist.
Start GPS recording on your phone before shooting. When finished, stop and save the trip. You can manually back it up to your own Google account or export a photo-free .gptag.json file for offline use.
On Windows, use the GPS Photo Tagger desktop helper to choose a trip and photo folder. It creates GPS-tagged photo copies by matching capture times. Your original photos are never modified.
GPS tracks stay on your device unless you choose to back them up, export them, or share a file.
This is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by iNaturalist. iNaturalist and its related marks are the property of their respective owners.
