About this app

The Green Travel Carbon App first appeared in relation to GPS tracking PoC for a metro NRDC unit c. 2011. It was updated in 2021 to GT2, a complete app with foreground only tracking (2.0.7). GT2 3.0.0 updated in 2026 to use my common app platform (DSAP) and enable background operation (2.0.8).

GT2 3.0.1 (2.0.9) adds multi-leg trips, custom fuel setting, and switching from background execution back to foreground which completes the functional baseline begun with 2.0.8.

GT3 will be a full Personal Carbon Accounting domain in the Personal Motion Tracking Applications (PMTA) product line with advanced functions but GT2 will be maintained to keep the stack current.
