Choosing the right grout color can make or break your design. Groutr lets you see how any grout shade — or even multiple shades — will look on your own tiles and mosaics before you commit.


Take a photo of your project, and Groutr automatically detects the grout lines. From there, you can:

- Try any color: pick a custom shade or colors from real grout brands

- Compare side-by-side: preview up to 4 colors at once

- Visualize multi-color grout: paint or recolor lines individually for creative designs

- Edit with precision: erase or redraw to refine the detected grout lines

- Simulate grout on all tile types: mosaics, ceramic, hex, pebble pavers, stained glass, and more. If it needs grout, Groutr can visualize it.

Really good app. Been mosaicing for years and always spend too much time pondering grout colour. Take pic of your mosaic, upload, set pieces and grout to smallest possible and try all the different colours to your heart's content! Also found that zooming in on your picture of mosaic piece, taking a screenshot then trying grout colours with that pic, gives great detail and works well.

First impression... Love it! Takes the guesswork out of grouting and possibly ruining a good art piece.

What’s new

Groutr got an upgrade! Our grout detection algorithm now re-grouts all kinds of tile, including mosaics, household tile, pavers and more. But that's not all, the Groutr interface now includes the ability to edit the generated grout lines, recolor lines individually for multi-color grout, or draw entirely new grout lines from scratch.
