About this app

Halqa Hub brings your conversations, your communities and your local marketplace together in one simple app.

CHAT WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW
• Private one-to-one and group chats
• Send photos and voice notes: record, listen back, then send
• Replies, reactions, edits and read receipts
• Message requests, so strangers can't message you without your OK
• Instant notifications that show who wrote and what they said, grouped by chat

JOIN COMMUNITIES
• Communities for your city, school, workplace or hobby
• Channels to keep conversations organised
• Posts, comments and reactions in a clean, fast feed
• Follow people and see what they share

BUY AND SELL NEARBY
• List an item in a minute with photos, a price and your area
• Browse listings near you and save the ones you like
• Make and accept offers right inside the chat
• Reviews from real, completed sales, so you know who you're dealing with

SAFE BY DESIGN
• Chats are private and encrypted in transit
• Halqa staff never browse your messages; they only see a message someone in the chat reports
• Report anything in a couple of taps; every decision is explained and you can appeal
• Two-step verification and alerts when a new device signs in
• Block anyone, and accept or decline message requests

YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE
• No ads, and we never sell your data
• Download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings

Halqa Hub also works on the web at halqahub.com, with the same account.
