About this app

Harson Ballistics is a rifle ballistics calculator built to work where you actually shoot: no signal, no account, no waiting. Set up your rifle, scope and load once, and every solution after that runs on the phone.

WHAT IT DOES
• Drop and windage for any range, in MRAD, MOA, clicks, cm or inches
• Reticle view: your holdover drawn on your actual reticle, scaled to magnification
• Range card: a full table you can read in the field or print for the scope cap
• Flight Path Lab: side and top-down views of the bullet's path, so you can see what wind, zero and sight height really do
• Zeroing helper, truing from what you saw on target, and spin-drift, Coriolis and transonic warnings when they matter

THE ENGINE
Point-mass trajectory with G1 and G7 drag, velocity-banded ballistic coefficients where the bullet maker publishes them, air density from actual temperature, pressure and humidity, and Miller stability from your twist rate. Every result is cross-checked against an independent reference solver before release.

RETICLES
Harson draws reticles as real vector geometry, not photographs. Every reticle marked Verified has been checked mark-by-mark against the manufacturer's own published specification sheet.

Free reticles: generic Mil-Dot, MOA Hash, Duplex, German #4 and Fine Crosshair, plus the Harson MRAD Ladder. The manufacturer library is part of Harson Pro.

BULLETS
234 bullets from Sierra, Hornady, Berger, Barnes, Nosler, Lapua and others with the maker's published BCs, and 48 factory loads across 11 cartridges — .308 Win, .30-06, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 6.5x55, .270 Win, .300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm PRC, 8x57 JS and 9.3x62 — which fill in the projectile and advertised velocity in one tap.

182 of the 234 bullets and 47 of the 48 loads have been checked against the manufacturer's current published figures, and every record carries the source it came from. Where a figure hasn't been double-checked, the app says so on the screen where you take the shot. A published BC is a starting point either way: true your velocity and confirm your dope by shooting.

If your load isn't listed, enter the figures off the box and it's a first-class profile like any other.
