Scan a GS1-128 or GS1 DataMatrix and it splits out what is inside — GTIN, lot number, expiry date, serial — as separate labelled fields, not one run of digits.

Barcodes you can create and save at no cost: EAN-13, EAN-8, ISBN, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39. Nine business formats — GS1-128, Data Matrix, GS1 DataMatrix, PDF417, Aztec, ITF-14, ITF, Codabar, Code 93 — are covered by the one-time purchase. What each is for and what to type is free to read.
Check digits are worked out for you. Put a lowercase letter into Code 39 and it says "Code 39 cannot use lowercase letters" — what is wrong, not just that something is.

Every scan is sorted into categories and kept in a searchable history. Narrow it three ways at once — by period (this month, last month, last 6 months, this year, last year, or dates you pick), by category and by format — so thousands of scans lead to the one you want.
There is no product name lookup. You name things yourself: label a scan once and next time you read that barcode you see your own words for it.
Products, Wi-Fi and contacts build up. Only URLs and plain text are tidied away after 90 days by default; anything labelled or noted is left alone. Payment codes are never written to history.
