Hidden Apps Detector & Finder shows every app installed on your phone, including apps that have no icon on the home screen or in the app drawer. It helps you spot apps you do not recognise and review what they are allowed to do.
WHY APPS HIDE
Some apps run without a launcher icon. Many are harmless helpers, such as keyboard plug-ins or companion services. Monitoring apps and stalkerware often do the same, and they also tend to ask for special access. Hidden Apps Detector puts these facts side by side so you can decide what to keep.
WHAT YOU CAN CHECK
• Apps without an icon – installed apps that have no home-screen icon.
• Worth a look – apps that combine several warning signs, such as no icon together with accessibility access or permission to read SMS, call log or location.
• Special access – apps you allowed to use accessibility services, device administration or notification access. These can read the screen, control the phone or read your notifications.
• Installed outside app stores – apps installed from an APK file, a browser, a file manager or a computer.
• New apps – apps installed in the last 7 days, plus a count of apps added since your previous scan.
• Installed apps and system apps – full lists you can search and sort by name, install date or warning signs.
APP DETAILS IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
Open any app to see why it is listed, which sensitive permissions it is allowed to use (camera, microphone, location, SMS, call log, contacts and more), where it was installed from, when it was installed and updated, and whether it has an icon. One tap opens Android's own app settings, where you can stop, disable, revoke permissions or uninstall the app. Mark apps you know as trusted to keep your "Worth a look" list short.
STORAGE BY APP
If you turn on Android's Usage access, the app also shows how much space apps, their data and caches use. This is optional and you can switch it off at any time.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• The scan runs on your phone. Your app list is never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
• No account and no sign-in.
• Your trusted list and last-scan memory stay in private app storage on your device.
To show every app, including apps without an icon, Hidden Apps Detector needs Android's permission to see all installed apps. It uses this only to build the lists you see.

Hidden Apps Detector lists facts about installed apps so you can review them. It is not an antivirus and cannot prove that an app is harmful or safe. If you think someone is monitoring your phone, removing or disabling an app may alert them, so consider talking to someone you trust or a local support service first.
