HongChat brings together nearby merchant discounts, card / e-wallet rewards and opening hours, then thinks through the options to give you practical, local and accurate suggestions. It can also help you understand everyday legal situations, make sense of financial information, and handle writing, translation and weather-related decisions.

HongChat is built by a local team and designed around how people in Hong Kong actually live.
It understands Cantonese, knows local malls, eateries and neighbourhoods, and when problems get complicated it will “think carefully before answering” – helping you make better choices across deals, law, finance and daily life, instead of throwing out generic one-liners.

You can ask, in natural Cantonese or English:
“On Saturday I’m meeting friends in Mong Kok. Find us somewhere not too expensive with good deals, and tell me which card is best to pay with.”
