About this app

Hrady.app is an app for sightseeing trips. You can find over 2,000 castles, chateaux and ruins all over the Czech Republic — on a map, in a list and in search. From planning at home to saving a visit under the walls.

WHAT THE APP CAN DO

Map of all monuments
Castles, chateaux and ruins on one clear map. The color of the mark tells you what awaits you, the shape specifies the type.

Save a visit on the spot
Are you standing under a castle? The app recognizes you by GPS and with one tap your visit is recorded.

Your own expedition diary
Every visit will remain in your diary. You can see where you have been and how many you already have.

We list sources honestly
We build on open data from OpenStreetMap and supplement it with ČÚZK, the National Parks and Nature Reserves Monument Catalogue, Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. For each text and photo, you will find the author, source and license.

Descriptions of monuments, photos, events and map data are loaded online. However, you can record your visit even without a signal — it will be saved on your phone and synchronized as soon as you get a signal.

The account is free — thanks to it, your visits are backed up and transferred to other devices. You log in via email, Google or Apple.

SUBSCRIPTION

You can try Premium for 14 days free of charge. After that, it costs 99 CZK per month or 399 CZK per year. The subscription is automatically renewed until you cancel it — you can cancel it at any time in the subscriptions on Google Play.
