About this app

Hühnerfuchs is the app for your backyard poultry: chickens, ducks, geese, quail, turkeys and guinea fowl. Whether you keep a few hens in the garden or a mixed flock: count eggs, track laying performance, document health, plan appointments and keep an eye on costs. All in one place, with no account. Your data stays on your device.

TRACK EGGS
• Per animal or as a bulk entry for the whole flock
• Record egg colors, weight and defects: broken, wind egg, double yolk, soft shell, very small, very large
• Egg history chart, laying performance and top layers on the dashboard
• Weight statistics per species, from quail egg to goose egg
• Dashboard with eggs today, weekly total, health status and upcoming appointments
• Swipe between flocks, filter by period

ANIMALS & FLOCKS
• Six species: chickens, ducks, geese, quail, turkeys and guinea fowl, each with its own breed catalog and your custom breeds
• Animal profiles with photo, breed, gender, hatch date and notes
• Leg ring, source and purchase price per animal
• Add several animals at once, for example a batch of chicks
• Flocks with their own name, color, icon and location; move animals between flocks
• Archive for animals that left (sold, died, rehomed), their statistics stay

HEALTH & APPOINTMENTS
• Check-up, illness, medication, vaccination, injury, parasites, note
• Group treatment for the whole flock, every animal gets its own record
• Mark open cases as resolved; every animal shows its health status
• Appointments with reminders (1 hour to 1 week ahead) and repeats: weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly or quarterly
• Completed appointments automatically create a health record

WEATHER
• Temperature, conditions and daylight logged automatically per flock location (data: MET Norway)
• "Eggs & temperature" chart: see how weather and laying performance relate

FINANCES & DIARY
