About this app

SynClock is the alarm clock for everyone you share your day with. Set an alarm once and it rings for the whole family, your roommates, your team or your running group – on every phone, at the same time.

SHARED ALARMS – ONLY WITH A YES
• Send an alarm to friends or a whole group
• Nobody gets woken up by surprise: shared alarms only ring after you accept them
• See who has accepted and who hasn't
• One-time, on chosen weekdays, on a specific date or monthly

• Rings on time – even when your phone is locked, the app is closed or after a restart
• Gentle wake-up with slowly rising volume, vibration and snooze
• Math challenge: solve a quick sum to turn the alarm off – no more oversleeping
• "Alarm reliability" in the settings shows whether your phone is ready to ring

• Wake up to your favorite radio station – live, from thousands of stations worldwide

YOUR MORNING AT A GLANCE
After the alarm, SynClock shows what matters today. You choose – nothing is on by default:
• Weather for a fixed place or wherever you wake up (approximate location, optional)
• Official severe weather alerts for the US, Canada and Germany
• World headlines from Wikipedia's "In the news", or news from Germany and its states
• Today's alarms, appointments and to-dos, plus open tasks from your groups
• "On this day" from Wikipedia and a thought for the morning

TIMERS, STOPWATCH AND TO-DOS
• Named timers for you or your group
• Stopwatch with laps and splits – share it live while it runs
• To-dos with due dates for you or a group – check them off for everyone
• Export your week to any calendar app

FRIENDS AND GROUPS
• Add friends with a QR code or a short code
• Create groups and invite people by code or QR code
• Group owners and admins keep things tidy
• Block people – for good or just for a while

YOUR DATA
• Use SynClock without signing up – an account is optional
• Weather and news go through our server: your phone never connects to these providers directly
• Your location is only used if you choose "Current location" – rounded to about 10 km (6 miles) and never linked to your account
• Delete your account and data at any time, right in the app

SynClock is free with a small, unobtrusive banner – and no ads at all on first launch. SynClock Pro removes the ads and unlocks all alarm tones, color themes and the AMOLED black mode.
