About this app

Independo Journal is a picture diary for capturing everyday moments, activities and experiences with photos, symbols, voice and simple inputs.

It helps people show what happened, capture what mattered and make everyday life visible in a way that does not rely only on written text. Photos, METACOM symbols, voice and simple ratings can all support expression.

The journal can support conversations with family, support teams or professionals. It is useful for remembering important moments, personal steps and everyday experiences that should not get lost.

When used as part of an organisation, journal entries can appear in the Independo Portal. Professionals can review them, add context and decide whether they are used for goal-related documentation. Not every entry automatically becomes documentation.
