About this app

They're standing right next to you. Maybe you just met, maybe you've known them a while. But there's that thing where you just get each other. You're glad they're around. The neighborhood is better because they're in it.

You found one of your people.

Not in an "let's be followers" way. You're not trying to watch each other's highlights. Not in a phone number way either—this isn't that kind of close. It's something else. You're part of the same village. You believe in the same neighborhood.

And right now, that energy has nowhere to go.

The big platforms got really good at keeping you on your phone. That's not a conspiracy—it's just what they're optimized to do. Capture attention, maximize engagement, sell ads against every scroll. They promised to bring us together, but they want us home and scrolling.

Fiber is different. It's not just a way out of broken social networks. It's a way back to the good stuff.

Connecting happens in person, just like real life. Someone offers you their code and you scan it. From that moment, you'll see each other on Fiber. Your past stays private. Every relationship starts fresh.

What grows from there: a photo stream of what your people notice. Plans that come together just in time. Letters waiting for you at places that matter. No algorithm, no ads, no strangers.

Just more of the thing that's meant to be happening. More spontaneous plans. More familiar faces. More reasons to be glad you live where you live.
Your city is full of people you'd get along with. Fiber helps you find each other.

What’s new

-Performance and stability improvements
-Light mode fully implemented
-And introducing... Sparks! Fiber's version of likes, every photo you post comes with its own unique spark that you can merge with the spark on another user's photo. Each merge creates a new, unique spark that can grow and change, and travel through the network over time. It's an idea that's been kicking around for a few weeks and hard to get right without user feedback. Please let us know what you think!
