About this app

Plan multi-day trips the way you actually do them, by day, by stop, by hotel. Journiz turns the spreadsheet sprawl of trip planning into one map you can hand to anyone walking with you.

Build a trip in minutes. Drop your start, your overnight stops, your hotels, and the points worth pausing for. Import the route from official trail data when you've got it, or sketch it yourself when you don't. Each day shows your planned activities, the interesting stops and planned hikes.

When you hike, Journiz records every mile live: pace, distance, and elevation gain, captured continuously even when the screen is locked or the phone is in your pocket. Your next segment rides on the lock screen as a Live Activity. Glance at it for arrival time, tap it for navigation. No unlocking, no app-juggling.

Trips are shared, not owned. Invite the people traveling with you and everyone sees the same plan, the same map, the same comments and photos.

Back home, the trip becomes a journal. Your photos, comments, and recorded tracks come together in a recap you'll actually want to open in five years.
