Kamna is production management software for CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) garment manufacturers. It tracks lots from cutting to dispatch, calculates per-piece cost in real time, and keeps fabric and trim inventory accurate without spreadsheets.

Built by a factory owner in Tiruppur who needed this tool for his own production floor.

WHAT KAMNA DOES

Lot Tracking
Create a lot, assign a style, and track it through every making stage: cutting, stitching, washing, ironing, checking, packing. Log pieces out to vendors, pieces back in, rates, bills, and DC numbers. See exactly where every lot is at a glance.

Cost Calculation
Kamna calculates per-piece cost automatically. Fabric weight consumed, cutting charges, making stage vendor rates, trims used: everything rolls up into a live cost per piece. No formulas, no copy-paste errors.

Fabric and Trim Inventory
Enter fabric lots with weight, rate, GSM, composition, and colour. Record trim and accessory purchases with quantity and cost. When you cut fabric or use trims on a lot, stock updates automatically. Opening balances supported for existing inventory.

Vendor Management
Maintain a vendor directory with job types and contact notes. When you assign a stage to a vendor, Kamna tracks their delivery performance across lots.

Ask (AI Intelligence)
Ask questions about your production data in plain language. "Which lots are overdue?" or "What is the average cutting cost this month?" Kamna generates the answer from your data. Available on the Factory plan.

Command Palette and Do
Quick search across lots, vendors, fabric, and trims. Create new records by typing what you want: "new lot 187 with 500 pieces" and Kamna fills the form. Faster than tapping through menus.

Reports
Production pipeline, delivery tracker, cost trends, vendor performance, rejections analysis, fabric rate trends. Visual charts and exportable data on every plan.

Camera and Document Capture
Photograph vendor bills and delivery challans directly from the app. Attach them to making stages for a complete paper trail without filing cabinets.
