KARAIOKE is the official app for https://www.karaioke.app that turns any Android TV, tablet or phone into a complete professional karaoke rig!

Play any MP3+G (CDG) karaoke and video files you already own, run the night from a proper KJ-style queue, and let your guests request songs in your library from their own devices.

Built for the living room first: every screen, dialog and control is designed to work with a TV remote, a keyboard, a mouse or your fingers.

🎵 PLAYS REAL KARAOKE FORMATS
MP3+G / CDG pairs, ZIP-packed CDG discs, and MP4, MKV, AVI and WebM video karaoke. A purpose-built CD+G renderer draws lyrics and wipes exactly as the original discs do — crisp and authentic, or smoothed, your choice.

📀 YOUR WHOLE LIBRARY, ONE LIST
Add folders from device storage, stream directly from a NAS or Windows/SMB network share, and sign in to KARAIOKE.APP to play tracks from your online library. Everything lands in one searchable index — you never have to remember where a song lives.

🎚️ KJ-STYLE CONTROLS
Classic two-pane jukebox layout: Artists, Titles and Search tabs with A-Z fast jump, next to a persistent Up Next queue you can drag into any order. Change key by up to seven semitones without changing tempo. Continuous, single-play and repeat modes, so you can start each singer deliberately.

🎉 PARTY MODE
Start a party and guests join by scanning a QR code or typing a five-character code. No account and no sign-up for them. They browse your library, request songs with their name attached, watch the live queue, and get a notification when they are up next. Runs entirely over your own Wi-Fi, so a party works with no internet connection at all.

📺 SECOND SCREEN LYRICS
Connect an HDMI TV or cast, and the lyrics move to the big screen while the controls stay in your hands. You can also pair extra Android TVs or tablets over Wi-Fi as dedicated lyrics displays — each renders locally against a synced clock, so they stay in step with the music.

🖥️ PAIRED REQUEST STATION
Turn a spare tablet or TV into a request kiosk that lives in the room all year — it pairs once and reconnects itself every session. Optional exit password keeps it locked to the song list.

✏️ TRACK NAMES DONE RIGHT
Reads ID3 tags, understands common karaoke filename patterns, and lets you correct any artist or title by hand. Your edits are stored safely in the app and never rewrite your files.

🗂️ ORGANIZE ACROSS SOURCES
Copy or move tracks between your folders, network shares and KARAIOKE.APP library, with duplicate detection so you do not end up with the same song three times.

💾 BACKUP AND RESTORE
Save your sources, settings, name edits and sign-in to an encrypted archive on a folder or network location, and restore the whole rig on a new device.

Playback that survives a screen going dark, lock screen and Bluetooth controls, scrolling titles, adjustable overlays, and a full options screen.
