About this app
Kizoona is a safe chat for kids. Two separate decisions shape it.
Connecting — grown-ups decide. Every new contact needs a grown-up on BOTH sides to approve, not just the kid's own parent. No strangers, and no-one adds your kid silently.
Reading — set per chat, not as a blanket. For each chat you pick one of three: read along, private, or "decide per chat." Whichever you pick, your kid always sees who can read at the top of every chat. If they'd rather a specific chat was private (or open), they ask you; you approve or decline.
It isn't another big-tech product, it isn't a family group chat, and it isn't yet-another kid-safe walled garden that still sells your attention. It's a small, private messenger on a different deal.
HOW IT'S DIFFERENT
No ads. No data harvesting. No AI reading messages.
No third-party SDKs, no behavioural tracking, no feed algorithm, no followers. Our business model isn't your data. The company exists to sell the app, not you.
Not a big corporation.
Kizoona is built by a small, independent team in Europe. We're not a division of a social network, we don't raise from investors who need your kid to scroll longer, and we answer to our users — not to a shareholder deck.
Your data stays in the EU.
All servers are hosted in the EU. GDPR is the floor, not the target. Nothing is "replicated" to US clouds or third parties for analytics. What we don't need, we don't store.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Every message is encrypted on the phone before it leaves, and only the people in the chat (plus the guardians the child has chosen to watch along) can decrypt it. Not even we can read them. No AI trained on your messages. No server-side content scanning.

Decide when each chat is available. Per-day windows (school-day afternoons, wider weekends, always-on for family), grouped by who the kid is talking to. Outside a window, outgoing messages are blocked and notifications go quiet; the next-open time is shown so the kid knows when it opens again.
