Knocksser turns your phone into your doorbell or business doorbell.
Simply place your personal QR code on the door. When someone scans it and taps "Call," your phone rings with a real call, complete with its own ringtone and full screen. You'll instantly recognize it from any notification.
No construction. No wires. No app for the caller.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Create your QR code.
2. Place it on your door (print it on paper or a sticker).
3. When someone taps it, your phone rings. That's it.
WHAT IT'S FOR
• You live on a high floor and can't hear the doorbell.
• Your doorbell has been broken for years.
• You wear headphones while working or playing games at home.
• You have a business with a back room or multiple rooms.
• You're elderly and can't hear the doorbell well.
• You manage an Airbnb without reception.
• Your office receives visitors, but there's no doorman.
• Your warehouse has several floors, and there's no one at the entrance.
• You're a building superintendent and don't want to publish your personal number.
DESIGNED FOR REAL-WORLD USE
• Ringtone: You'll hear it even if your phone is on silent (when you allow it).
• Only rings from the door: The app verifies that the person is physically in front of your QR code, with a configurable radius. No one calls unsolicited from across town.
• Quiet hours: Define when you don't want it to ring (at night, during meetings, etc.).
• Multiple phones: The notification reaches all devices connected to your account.
• Multiple QR codes per account: One for your home, one for your business, and one for the office.
• Team: Invite your partner, family, or team. Everyone receives the call, and anyone can answer. • Call History: See when the call came in, from where, and whether you answered.
PRIVACY
The caller only sees a button to call you back. They don't see your phone number, your email address, or know who you are. We don't publish your location. We don't sell your data.
KNOCKSSER IS NOT
• A phone. There is no two-way voice call.
• A video doorbell. There is no image or audio of the visitor.
• A smart lock. It doesn't unlock the door.
It's a real-time notification when someone is at your door. Nothing more, nothing less. That's what we were all looking for.
