About this game

Lamlim is a daily word puzzle in Arabic. Made for people who read Arabic comfortably: words appear without vowel marks, and some come from different Arab dialects. The «لماذا؟» (Why?) note next to each group explains it. The app and every puzzle are in Arabic; this English page is here to help you decide.

Every day there is one new puzzle for everyone: solve it, then send your result to family and friends and challenge them to keep more cups than you.

On a board of warm sand are twenty words. Among them are four groups of four words that share something, and four extra words that look as if they belong to a group but belong to none.

How to play
• Pick four words that share something, then tap «تحقق» (Check).
• Get it right and the four words come together on one thread, with the group's name.
• If three of your four words are from the same group, you'll see «قريب جدًا!» (So close!).
• Each mistake empties one of your four coffee cups. When the cups are empty, the round is over.
• Last comes the final question, the master link («الرابط الكبير»): what do the four groups have in common? You get four options, one try, and the prize is a star.
