La Nave is a mobile application that connects passengers and drivers 24 hours a day, offering you a transportation solution adapted to your local needs.

How does it work?
• Activate location and mobile data on your phone (the app uses this information so the person driving knows where to pick you up and what route to take)
• Open the app
• Register (it's super easy)
• Search by name or mark on the map the place you want to go to
• Select the category in which you want to travel (basic, comfort and family)
• Then, the approximate fare of the trip and its breakdown will be available (it will vary in cases of change of route or according to waiting times)
• You will be able to see the driver's photo, the rating of the quality of their service, the vehicle data and follow the trajectory on the map while you wait (it will never be too long)
• Additionally, you can use the app's chat to clarify any details of the race. This service is completely free of cost
• Pay the driver in cash for the ride
• At the end of the trip, rate the experience and the person responsible. Your opinion is essential for us. You will also receive a travel receipt or invoice by email
• We will be with you for any help you may need. When and how you need.

Ratings and reviews

everytime I enter my phone number to get verified, I get an error message relating to ''OTP''. What's that?? it's not sending me the verification code so I can't even use the app. Any number I try doesn't work, tried many times with various numbers.

As with any other mobile app, its efficiency is highly dependent on network speed. It works great as long as there's no power outage (very frequent with Cuba's energy crisis). The prices are standard and so far I've never been overcharged even when the app did lag some due to poor network coverage. You must have a local SIM to use it though, and so far only has enough users in Havana. Really hoping its popularity will extend to other provinces.

The app even when could be useful, crashes continuously. The service finally works but sometimes charges you more as the app gets frozen but continues counting time until the driver is able to close the trip, then the estimated cost could be up to double as you spend time trying to finish the trip on the app. Estimated cost is never what you end up paying, always much more.
