Lither Driver is the mobile companion for drivers and field teams who work with the Lither fleet and logistics platform. Start your shift, share your live location with dispatch, log trips and fuel, and stay in touch with your team — all from one app built for life on the road.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Vehicle check-in — Start a shift in seconds. Choose how you're travelling (car, van, truck, bus, motorcycle, ambulance, bicycle, scooter, on foot or in the field), then pick your vehicle by scanning its QR sticker, tapping an NFC tag, searching the number plate, or choosing a recent vehicle.
• Live GPS tracking — Share your position and route with dispatch as you drive. Reliable background tracking keeps working when the app is closed, and you can pause it whenever you're off duty.
• Messages — Chat directly with your dispatcher and colleagues without leaving the app.
• Fuel & CO₂ — Trips are logged automatically with distance, fuel use and CO₂ estimates. Snap a photo of a fuel receipt to keep your records accurate.
• Emergency SOS — Send an alert with your current location to the monitoring centre with a single tap.
• Your profile — Keep your driver, vehicle and reimbursement details up to date so expenses and payroll stay simple.
• Works offline — Actions are saved and synced automatically as soon as you're back online, so a weak signal never stops the job.
• Secure — Lock the app with a PIN.
Depending on your organisation's plan, Lither Driver may also include route schedules, delivery confirmation and proof of delivery, load and stop scanning, and warehouse or stock lookups.
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD
Lither Driver is a companion app for teams that already use the Lither platform. You'll need a Lither workspace and the connection details from your organisation — usually a QR code or invite link — to sign in. It is not a standalone app and can't be used without an account.
PERMISSIONS
• Location — shows your position on the map and shares your route with dispatch while you're on shift. Background location keeps tracking active when the app isn't open.
• Camera — scans vehicle QR codes and fuel receipts.
• NFC — checks you in when you tap a vehicle tag.
• Notifications — delivers dispatch messages and alerts.
We only use these to run the features above. Ask your fleet administrator if you have any questions about how your data is handled.
