About this app

Loam is the maintenance brain for your mountain bike and e-bike. It tells you when your suspension, drivetrain and brakes are due for service or replacement - based on how far and how long you actually ride - and reminds you before it bites on the trail. Fork and shock service, chain and cassette wear, brake pads and rotors, dropper and bearings - Loam tracks it all from your real ride hours and kilometres.

Track every part:
• Fork, shock & dropper - service intervals from ride hours
• Chain & cassette - wear by distance (e-bike-aware)
• Brake pads & rotors - front and rear, tracked separately (rotor thickness too)
• Tires, bearings, headset, bottom bracket & wheels - time-based checks

Track your way:
• Manual - add your bikes, set service dates, and Loam counts down to the next one.
• Strava - optionally connect Strava to import your own rides, so service intervals update automatically from your ride time and distance.
• Bosch eBike - connect a Bosch eBike (EU accounts) to import motor hours and odometer for accurate e-bike wear.

More in the app:
• Maintenance reminders so you don't have to remember
• The Workshop - track spares, fluids and cleaning stock
• Tuning assistant - private fork and shock setup help, one clear change at a time
• Shop the part - jump to the right spare or service kit when something is due
• Background Strava sync and pull-to-refresh in the garage
• Suspension setup history - keep a log of your tunes
• The Kit Bag - track helmets, pads and riding gear too
• Optional encrypted cloud backup - move your garage to a new phone with a recovery code

Loam complements Strava - Strava stays your ride recorder; Loam turns that history into maintenance reminders. It does not replace Strava's recording, social, segments, or analytics.

Privacy first:
• Your rides are read directly from Strava to your device - never sent to our servers, never shared, never sold, never used for ads or AI.
• Optional cloud backup is encrypted on your device before upload - we store only data we can't read.
• You only ever see your own data.
• Connections are optional; the app works fully without them.
• Disconnect anytime; your access is revoked and the token removed from your device.

Available in 7 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Hebrew.

What’s new

Electronic shifting, your way. Adding a SRAM AXS or Shimano Di2 derailleur now lets you choose its power source. Wired setups (auto-shift and eBike-integrated drivetrains) skip charge tracking, since there is no pack to charge; battery setups keep the charge reminder. The shifter coin-cell reminder stays on either way. Fix: a service baseline you confirmed by hand now sticks across restarts and restores.
