This is the best app to find photo locations almost anywhere in the world. As an amateur photography who likes to travel with a camera, I have taken photos that I would not been able to find without this app. I have used Google maps to find cell phone shots taken by tourists. It is rare to find photo locations shared by professional photographers. Locationscout has improved its app continuously since 2018 when I first started using it. You cannot find a better photo location app.

Update: Now used this app on several trips (currently in Budapest) and am finding the more I use the better I find it. The bookmarking before a trip, then the map feature to see how close or distributed my spots are I'm finding particularly useful. And then the 'Around Me' function when I have more time (or one of the spots is closed like today) is a great fallback from my planning. All in all, along with Waze and What3Words this is one of my favourite apps for photography.

What’s new

• Sorted Boards – If you have more than 5 boards, the recent 2 are now pinned while the rest is ordered by name to make boards easier to find.
• Spot Image Count – When viewing spot images grouped by spot, you can now see how many images are in each spot directly on the image thumbnail.
• Smooth Scrolling – I improved scrolling for image grids across the app with fewer requests and dynamic loading for images to save you data bandwidth.
