Ratings and reviews

This is the best app to find photo locations almost anywhere in the world. As an amateur photography who likes to travel with a camera, I have taken photos that I would not been able to find without this app. I have used Google maps to find cell phone shots taken by tourists. It is rare to find photo locations shared by professional photographers. Locationscout has improved its app continuously since 2018 when I first started using it. You cannot find a better photo location app.

One small criticism: Some of these locations are no longer accessible, certainly not in the manner as shown in the image, due to newly-implemented restricted access, buildings that once provided access torn down, or even overgrown trees. Certainly, I've been to several locations only to be rather disappointed that I can't replicate the images as shown in the app, meaning these images must have been captured a while back. Otherwise, this is a great app

Cannot recommend this enough. Used it properly for the first time yesterday. The ability to have inspiration at many locations is incredible. What's even better is the level of detail, for instance, knowing when the sun sets and rises and the location, and the weather too. I've already upgraded to premium, which gives even more, like opening directions to the spot in maps. Brilliant 👏 👏 👏
