Really terrible app experience. App doesn't comply with Android standards/requirements (back button won't close app, for instance). Can't even access locations on a general map without upgrading and the price of this app is astoundingly (downright absurdly) high for something that is essentially just user generated content. Total rip off. App also doesn't prioritize locations close to you in the home view. No offline mode is an issue, too. I wanted to love this idea, but sadly it's a huge fail.

Dear Dan, what a sad timing. I just released a big app update that makes the app a lot easier to understand with a new Explore page. Just open a Location and click on the map tab to access the free map. Thanks to your feedback I also just implemented the back button closing the app, being available within the next few hours. ;-) -- Manuel

This is the best app to find photo locations almost anywhere in the world. As an amateur photography who likes to travel with a camera, I have taken photos that I would not been able to find without this app. I have used Google maps to find cell phone shots taken by tourists. It is rare to find photo locations shared by professional photographers. Locationscout has improved its app continuously since 2018 when I first started using it. You cannot find a better photo location app.

I love the concept of this app. Always wanted a good alternative to flickr map and here it is ! I love to support dev for their app, but for me, the price is a bit expensive for the use case. I may use it few week per year and the price is too high for this purpose. Would love a weekly subscription or a life time payment Also would be cool to be able to add spot within the application instead of website.

Thank you for your honest feedback dear Lucas. Adding spots in the app is on my todo list but as a solo developer I simply have to prioritize. If you really want to support me, keep in mind that not even 1/3 of the monthly price will reach me while I will do everything I can to make this the best possible app and support experience for you. I know this feature may not be relevant to everyone, but I really care about each of you and displaying distances as miles has been requested a lot. Converting km to miles is now a thing of the past, yay! I've even made sure this is synced across all devices and is preset for your country, but you can always change it in the settings.
