SpendSorter helps you understand everyday spending by turning bank SMS alerts into a clean personal expense dashboard.

The app can automatically sync transaction SMS messages on supported Android phones, detect debit and credit alerts, and organize spending by date, amount, bank, merchant, category, and budget type.

Create simple spending categories such as Life Infrastructure, Future Me, Performance & Growth, Relationships & Generosity, and Lifestyle Enjoyment. Each transaction can also be marked as Need, Want, or Saving, so you can see not just how much you spent, but what kind of spending it was.

Set a flexible spend limit for the day, week, or month. SpendSorter shows how much is remaining, warns you when you are close to crossing the limit, and gives a friendly in-app nudge when you stay on track.

If a bank SMS format is not detected, use Teach Format to paste a sample message and help the app recognize similar messages during the next sync.
