Mamoon is a baby monitor app that works with what you already own: the Wi-Fi camera in the nursery, or an old phone by the crib. It tells a cry from every other sound, wakes you only when it matters, and keeps everything on your home network. No cloud, no account, no ads.

YOUR WI-FI CAMERA AS A BABY MONITOR
• Tapo, Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink and other cameras with a standard RTSP stream. Mamoon finds the camera on your Wi-Fi; no hub, no server, no camera subscription.
• Real infrared night vision from a real camera, not a grainy phone picture in the dark.
• Turn a pan-tilt camera from the app, zoom in, take a photo.

AN OLD PHONE AS A BABY MONITOR
• Two phones, one minute: a spare Android phone or iPhone by the crib, scan its QR code, and you're paired.
• The phone by the crib rests its camera when you stop watching and wakes it when you start again.
• Several parents can watch the same nursery at once.

IT KNOWS A CRY
• Cry detection runs on your phone and never sends a second of sound anywhere.
• One clear word for the room: Calm, Stirring, Crying, or Offline if the connection drops.
• Choose what wakes you: only crying, crying and fussing, or every sound.
• Sound only: mute the nursery, sleep, and still get every cry.

NO SUBSCRIPTION NEEDED
Sound and cry alerts are free, forever. The live picture is a one-time purchase, yours for life on every phone with your Google account. If you'd rather try first, a monthly plan starts with 14 days free. The phone by the crib never pays anything. You see the price for your country in Google Play; a subscription can be cancelled anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

A BABY MONITOR THAT SAYS WHEN IT ISN'T WORKING
• An alert the moment the connection drops or the sound stops, so a dead monitor never looks alive.
• Live sound in sync with the picture, also with the screen off or in another app.
• Picture in picture while you use other apps.
• The notification shows the room's state on the lock screen, with a Stop watching button.
• No server of ours that can go down: Mamoon talks to your Wi-Fi camera or your other phone directly, and keeps working when the internet is out.

MADE FOR NIGHTS
• Night mode: an almost black screen with a dim clock and a waveform that lights up when the baby stirs.
• The overview shows the last hour and every sound of the day. Did she cry while I was in the shower? Now you know.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• A baby monitor that keeps picture and sound on your home network. No account for anyone to break into, and your camera's password never leaves your phone.
• Away from home? Watch, encrypted, through your own private Tailscale network.
• A few anonymous counts about setup help us improve; one switch in Settings turns them off.

Mamoon speaks English, Czech, German, Spanish, French and Polish. Works with iPhone and Android in any combination, so the old phone can be either.

Mamoon is not a medical device. Don't rely on it as the only way to watch your child.

What’s new

• Clearer help when your phone can't reach the phone by the crib: Mamoon now tells you whether it's this phone's Wi-Fi, two different networks, or the other phone not sending.
• The phone by the crib warns you when it isn't on Wi-Fi.
• If Mamoon is closed on the phone by the crib, a notification tells you it stopped sending.
