About this app

Runner is an unofficial, actively in development, companion app for Marathon - aiming to provide players with everything they need to make their experience better and easier. It's goal is to save you time from going to google and youtube to find everything. Built by the same developer of Raiders Map, this app is exactly what you need by your side on runs!

Runner features:
- Interactive maps, category filtering, detailed locations
- Guides for beginners and experts, runner shells, item database, quests and more

Runner is actively in development, and thus undergoing rapid changes in design. What you see here in the screenshots might not 100% reflect whats there on launch day, but I will do my best to keep screenshots up to date.

I like it, it's helped me out; my only issue is that you can't turn off the sound for the cinematic when you first open the app, being able to toggle that on and off from settings would be great. EDIT: after getting further along in the game and trying to use this app to help find quest objectives, I'm finding that a lot of the priority contracts don't have their objective markers added to the maps, which really stinks considering that's literally what I paid for. EDIT: Still no quests update.

Need to pay a membership to view other maps besides Perimeter. What's the point of doing that when I can go on Google and look at the details on other sites... for free? This is the greed the talk about in the bible. O'Hare Air levels of business. EDIT: My point is that a flashy, interactive map doesn't mean anything if you're putting ⅔ of the app behind a paywall. The app looks cool and the subscription is very on-theme. But you're expecting people to pay for info that is freely available

So go to google then? Why come here to my app page to leave a bad review if you’re so happy to use Google? apps are how I pay my bills. I also invest back into my apps and keep them ad free. The logo, intro video, and more was paid for to help gove a better experience that will keep improving.

Screenshots are NOT of the app as it exists. Paid for Lifetime membership (because of the push notification telling you to do it ASAP with FOMO tactics), then discovered it's missing the VAST majority of quests even a week after launch, uses undisclosed AI-generated assets, and stole art from artists that didn't consent to their work being used. Literally just use Polygon's interactive maps and Destructoid's quest guides and save yourself the $5 (now $10).

hello, you're correct about the quests, adding the rest of them now. There was 1 leftover image in the page from the old design. thats now replaced. There are no AI - generated assets in this application or store page. All assets were made by me or paid for. I did not steal anyone's art. Please don't spread false information that you didnt research
