Volumee lets you skip music tracks by simply holding the volume button.

The app works both when the screen is on and off. Unlike similar tools, it works reliably regardless of which app is currently open.

Volumee is compatible with all popular music players. The track is skipped in the currently active player. The service runs in the background and reacts to volume button presses only when a recognized music app is active (i.e. when a media notification is shown). Otherwise, the volume buttons work normally.

Volumee uses Android’s Accessibility Service to operate. This allows visually impaired users to skip tracks without looking at the screen or interacting with touch controls. The service is used only for detecting active media playback and handling button actions.

No personal data are collected. The app has no dedicated backend server (see Privacy Policy for details).

*** IMPORTANT ***
On Android versions 12 - 15, Volumee requires Always On Display (always show time and date) option to be enabled in order to operate when the screen is OFF.

Unfortunately, Android versions 12 - 15 were released with a bug. The problem was reported to Google and it was fixed in Android 16.

The only workaround which allows to continue using Volumee on these Android versions is enabling AOD. Please be aware it might not work on some devices.

I love this app, truly I do. The only thing I wish were different were the pro subscription... I refuse to pay more then once for an app because I've spent a lot of money on ones that are always filled with empty promises, which disappear along with the apps updates eventually, etc. I would GLADLY pay a standard one off fee for the premium version, if for nothing else just to support the developer. Unfortunately though I don't go near subscriptions. ☹️

This app has been essential since the day I got it. It's often easier and quicker to hold my phone on the side or in my pocket to skip songs than use the lock screen notification or hold down on a wireless earbud. I've even gotten the Pro version to help pause/unpause or rewind songs while I'm driving so I don't have to look down at my phone to do these actions. You can even customize the shortcuts to enable this, including multiple triggers for one action. I've already recommended this app.

This is a great app and I've been using it across multiple devices for years with no issues... Until today, when I get a note that background processing is preventing the app from working. I'm on a Pixel 7 Pro and the included instructions aren't addressing anything; the background restrictions options don't exist and battery optimization is already unrestricted. Any help would be appreciated!
