See a recipe you want to make? Share it to Matlyst, and it's saved: fully structured, in Norwegian, with ingredients and instructions for each.
Matlyst collects your recipes in one place instead of scattered across screenshots in your camera roll, bookmarks in your browser and saved posts that you'll never find again.
HOW IT WORKS
Share a link or post from a food video, a food blog or any website. Matlyst reads the recipe and adds it with quantities, steps and a picture. You can also take a picture of a handwritten recipe or a page in a cookbook.
Foreign recipes are translated into Norwegian Bokmål. Units are always converted to metric: grams, deciliters, liters and degrees Celsius. No cups, no Fahrenheit.
WEEKLY MENU AND SHOPPING LIST
Add recipes to your weekly menu day by day. The shopping list builds itself from the ingredients, sorted by where the items are in the store, so you don't have to go back and forth between the shelves. Check off as you shop.
Adjust the number of servings, and the quantities in the shopping list will adjust accordingly.
COOKING MODE
One step at a time in large print, with the ingredients you need right now next to them. The screen doesn't turn off while you're kneading the dough.
CALORIES AND MACROS
Calories, protein, carbs and fat per serving when the source states it. Set a daily goal and follow it, or leave it. It's completely optional.
FOLDERS
Sort the recipes however you want: weeknight dinner, baking, chicken, high protein, weekend meal. Your folders, your names.
WIDGETS
See tonight's dinner, the weekly menu or the shopping list right on your home screen. You can check off items in the shopping list widget without opening the app.

Wondering what you can replace an ingredient with, or how long something should be in the oven? The built-in food assistant answers.

You can import five recipes a month without paying, without a trial period that expires and without providing a card number. Everything else (weekly menu, shopping list, cooking mode, folders) is unlimited.
Food Appetite Pro provides unlimited import, sharing with household and pantry with expiration notifications. 49 kroner per month or 299 kroner per year.
PRIVACY WITHOUT EXTRA PRICE
No advertising in the app, and we never sell data. Usage statistics are off until you say yes in the app, and you can withdraw your answer at any time. Free and Pro have exactly the same privacy. Pro gives you features, not privacy.
