About this app

Mediagg plays music, podcasts, audiobooks, radio and video from your own media server, the files on your phone and anything on the web with an address. One library, one player, one queue, on your phone, tablet and Android TV.

YOUR OWN MEDIA SERVER
Mediagg is a client for Jellyfin, Plex, Emby, Audiobookshelf, Kodi and Subsonic servers (Navidrome, Airsonic, Gonic and others), and for WebDAV and SMB shares on a NAS, Nextcloud or PC. Your library stays where it is, and your progress is reported back so your other players stay in step.
• Continue watching, Next up, recently added and most played shelves, or the full library
• Sign in to several servers and browse them as one combined library
• Mixes built from your server's own suggestions, one tap to start
• Skip intros, recaps and credits on server video
• Read EPUB, PDF and CBZ comics from Audiobookshelf, with your place saved to the server

FILMS AND SERIES REQUESTS
Connect Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, Readarr, Prowlarr, Bazarr and Seerr, with qBittorrent, Transmission, Deluge or SABnzbd.
• Discover films and series and request them through Seerr
• Queue, calendar, missing titles and disk space at a glance
• Jump from a film in Radarr straight to watching it on your server

AUDIOBOOKS
• Chapters, bookmarks, sleep timer to the end of a chapter, and playback speed
• Audiobookshelf libraries, or M4B and MP3 books on your phone

PODCASTS
• Search several podcast directories at once, or browse top podcasts by country and category
• Add any feed by address, share a link to Mediagg from any app, or import an OPML file
• Chapters, show notes and transcripts when an episode has them
• Automatic downloads with a limit, clearing older episodes to make room
• Refresh on a schedule, on Wi-Fi only if you prefer
• Keep subscriptions and positions in sync with gpodder.net or Nextcloud

RADIO AND LIVE STREAMS
• Play internet radio and live streams from M3U playlists or any stream address
• Works with a self-hosted m3ugoat server for your own arranged playlists

YOUR FILES
• Every song and video on your device, by artist, album, genre, year or folder
• Timed lyrics from your files or from LrcLib, following the music line by line
• Playlists from M3U files or addresses

ONE PLAYER FOR EVERYTHING
• A podcast episode, a track from your phone, a live station and a film on your server can all sit in the same queue
• Mini player that drags up into the full player, with the queue one more pull away
• Video in the player or in picture-in-picture
• Cast to Chromecast and Google TV, or play on DLNA televisions and receivers
• Search everything at once: your files, your servers and your subscriptions

ANDROID TV
The same library on the big screen: servers, mixes, search, requests and the player, built for the remote.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Light, dark, or true black for OLED screens
• Accent colours from your wallpaper, from what is playing, or one of eight colours
• Choose which shelves Home shows, and in what order
• Listening statistics: time played per show, space used per download, and month by month
• Back up your library, play state and queue to a file, and restore it on another device

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Mediagg talks to your servers and to the feeds and services you choose, and nothing else. Crash logs stay on your phone unless you decide to send them.

SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT
Mediagg is made by one developer. If it earns a place on your phone, leave a one-off tip for a supporter badge, or become a monthly supporter for the badge and alternative app icons.

Mediagg is not affiliated with Jellyfin, Plex, Emby, Audiobookshelf, Kodi, Navidrome, Sonarr, Radarr, Seerr or any other server or service it connects to. You need your own server, or access to one, to use the media server features.
