About this app

Meevee is a calm streaming app for kids aged 2 to 6 where every session has a built-in ending. You set the session, Mookee the monkey ends it, and your child comes off the screen without a fight. Finally, screen time you don't have to worry about.

What makes Meevee different?
Kids' streaming apps are designed to keep kids watching. Meevee is designed to stop. Sessions are finite, story-led, and close with Mookee's calm goodbye.

What's in a session?
Curated preschool shows, visual time cues, and a gentle wind-down at the end, calm enough for bedtime. Ad-free, with no autoplay and no algorithmic feeds.

What do parents get?
Their own side of the app, with simple parental controls. Set session length for each kid, browse the full library, request and queue shows, and keep a profile for every kid in the family.

Can we watch on the TV?
Yes. Meevee casts to the big screen with Chromecast.

Is Meevee safe for toddlers?
Meevee is made for toddlers and preschoolers aged 2 to 6. Content is curated by humans and validated through child development research with Tilburg University.

Who makes Meevee?
A small team of parents in Amsterdam and Toronto, backed by angels and Microsoft for Startups. We built the app we wanted to hand our own kids.

What’s new

This is our first release for Android! In this release, you'll find a dedicated sessions tab, profiles for every kid in the family, and Mookee, a host for kids and a helper for Parents. You can browse the full library, request shows, and queue them up for your child. And sessions can end well on the big screen too, with Chromecast. Thanks for checking it out, and you can always give feedback straight to Mookee!
