Miklat helps you find public shelters (miklat) and safe rooms (mamad) across Israel quickly and easily.

HOW IT WORKS
• Open the app to see shelters near your location on an interactive map
• Tap any shelter to see details: address, capacity, accessibility, and verification status
• Get instant directions via Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps
• Search for any address or neighborhood to find shelters in that area

COMMUNITY-POWERED
Miklat relies on the community to keep shelter data accurate and up to date:
• Add new shelters you discover in your area
• Verify shelters you visit to help others trust the data
• Report shelter status as open or closed
• Correct shelter positions if they're marked in the wrong spot

• Green markers: Verified shelters confirmed by multiple users
• Yellow markers: Unverified shelters awaiting community confirmation
• Red markers: Shelters reported as closed
