Stack is a well at night and blocks of light falling into it. Fit them together, complete the rows, and don't let the pile reach the rim.
• Seven four-block pieces, dealt seven at a time: no piece is ever more than twelve away, no endless wait for the long one
• **Tap** to turn, **drag** sideways to move one column at a time, **drag down** to lower it, **flick down** to drop it at once
• Prefer buttons? Four big ones under the well: hold, turn left, turn right, drop
• Turns with the wall kicks experienced players expect: a piece next to the wall or the pile still turns
• The ghost shows where the piece will land, and the next three are already in sight
• A **hold** slot: set a piece aside and bring it back when you need it
• Half a second to adjust a resting piece before it locks
• One row is 100 points, two 300, three 500, four at once 800 — times the level
• The level goes up every ten rows, and so does the speed
• The well changes colour with the pile: lime while there is room, ember when you are at the rim
• A light buzz when a piece locks and a firmer one when rows clear; one tap turns it off
• Your best score, kept on the phone
The game pauses by itself when you leave the app or pull down the notification shade, and only carries on when you tap.
What Stack does not do:
• no account, no online leaderboard — that would be a server, and we have none
• **no permissions** beyond the ads network and the vibrator
• no purchases, no lives, no waiting
• no full-screen ad during a game: only, now and then, between one game and the next
