About this app

Mostly Charged is a battery-first pack manager for FPV freestyle and racing pilots. It tracks six chemistries, LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion, LiFePO4, NiMH and NiCd, so a shelf of AA cells and 18650s is a fleet here too.

Stick a QR label on every pack. At the field, scan it and tap once: charged, flew, crashed, capacity test, or retire. The event is logged instantly with a timestamp; details like flight time, landing voltage, or IR are always optional and never block the tap.

WHAT YOU GET

- Scan-to-log: print QR sticker sheets on any home printer, or share single labels to your label-printer app. Labels encode a local ID only, so they work offline forever and never go stale.
- Every chemistry judged its own way: a healthy 1.2 V nickel cell is never read as ruined, nickel is never nagged for a storage charge it has no practice for, and you can set the guard voltages yourself, per chemistry.
- One fleet, however mixed: give a pack a form factor (pouch, AA, AAA, 18650, 21700 and more), filter the fleet by form factor or chemistry or both, and order it by measured capacity.
- Health that derives itself: cycle counts, internal-resistance trends, true capacity from your capacity tests, average discharge voltage, depth-of-discharge history, and cost per cycle from what you paid. All computed from what you log, no manual bookkeeping.
- Storage watchdog: packs left at full charge get flagged before they puff, and one batch action storage-logs the whole pile.
- Over-discharge guard: landing voltages are checked against your thresholds, and repeated deep discharges nudge a pack toward retirement.
- Retirement calls you can trust: age, cycles, IR trend, and puff history in one view when it is time to decide.
- Your data moves both ways: export and restore your fleet as a single file, export CSV for spreadsheets, and import from a spreadsheet, packs first and then their charge and flight history.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Everything stays on your phone. No account, no cloud, no ads, no analytics. The app does not even request network access. The camera is used only to scan your pack labels and for crash photos you choose to take.

Built for the flight line: big touch targets, numeric keyboards where you type charger numbers, dark mode, and a fast path that is two taps after scan.

What’s new

Fixed: a pack saved without a nickname stopped every backup. The add form now checks every field, and the update names any such pack after its code, as an import now does for a nameless spreadsheet row or older backup.

Rename a pack, or correct its brand, capacity or retirement threshold, from the menu on its page. A refused backup now names the pack to fix.

Delete a pack you no longer want. Retiring still keeps a worn-out pack's history.

Backups made by 1.0.0 that would not restore now do.
