MyFoothold is a career ecosystem built for therapists, currently developing around the social worker career path. The app is designed to adapt and change based on where you are in your career. It supports clinicians across the full professional lifecycle, from BSW and MSW students, exam candidates, and preclinical supervisees to licensed clinicians, supervisors, and beyond, by connecting the tools, learning, and people scattered across their professional life into one place that grows with them.
Most of clinical practice gets fragmented across spreadsheets, PDFs, scattered apps, and disconnected communities. Career milestones get tracked in one place, supervision hours in another, exam prep in a third, peer conversations somewhere else entirely. MyFoothold replaces that fragmentation with one connected environment where every surface talks to the others. Your exam performance informs your learning focus. Your learning connects to supervision competencies. Your supervision documentation builds toward licensure. Your professional community connects to the clinical work, and your peer connections carry you through community building, networking, and the good times and the hard times alike.
Field placement. A field placement system that connects students with the community, streamlines the internship process, and supports scheduling and communication across field directors, liaisons, supervisors, and students.
Exam prep. Exam prep for BSW, MSW, and LCSW levels, incorporating not just clinical reasoning for answers but using behavioral tagging on questions to cross-connect with internal libraries, providing behavioral understanding that supports internalization of correct answers, not just fact memorization. The LCSW exam integrates with the supervision system so exam support can start on day one of clinical supervision.
Clinical supervision. A marketplace for clinical supervisors to advertise their services. A scheduling system for consultation blocks, groups, and individual supervision meetings.
