My Own Pace is built around how habits actually stick — not streaks, not shame, not competition. Just steady progress at the pace your life allows.
HOW IT WORKS
You start with a quick self-assessment across six life categories: Mind, Body, Social, Growth, Environment, Unwind. This tells your AI companion where you're starting from — what's already a strength, what feels like a stretch.
Then you add habits. For each one, your companion takes a look. If the habit feels right for where you are, it approves it with a few warm words. If it seems too ambitious, it gently suggests a gentler version — you can take the suggestion, or keep your original. Your call, always.
Once the habit is set, your companion suggests a "minimum" — the smallest version of it that still counts. Not a goal. A floor. The version you can do on your worst day. Take the suggestion, or go even smaller. Whatever feels right is yours to keep.
Then each day, you check in. Three honest options:
Done — you did the full version
Minimum — you did the smallest version, and that counts
Resting — today you chose not to, and that counts too
Miss a day entirely? Nothing breaks. No streaks. No red Xs. No guilt notifications. The app simply waits for you.

WHY WE BUILT THIS
Most habit apps run on guilt. Streak-based design is great for engagement charts — and terrible for actual humans. One missed day and you've "failed." That's not how lasting change works.
So we built the opposite. A space where consistency is celebrated but imperfection is expected. Where your AI companion is on your side. Where the real goal isn't a number on a screen — it's becoming someone you're proud of, slowly.
