Alibi keeps recording in the background and saves the last 30 minutes at your request. Everything is completely configurable. No internet connection required.

I can see that effort went into this app, but I could not get it to work on my device. I tried it around 6 months ago, I had it set up to bypass background restrictions, battery restrictions, fully up to date, and configured the settings inside the app; but whenever I opened the app some time after starting recording to save it, it wasn't recording anymore and I couldn't save. Even when I was doing nothing else and left the app at the forefront.

doesn't have the option where I can assign this app to record only in a given time of the day and week. I only want it to work on office hours and on weekdays.

almost perfect i just wish there was a way for it to continue recording even after i save a clip so i can save another immediately after if i want to
