Nanny Cam turns two Android phones into a baby monitor. Leave one phone in the nursery and keep the other with you. They find each other on your home WiFi and nothing goes anywhere else.

Live picture and sound, straight from one phone to the other. Save a picture, or keep watching in a small window while you use your phone.
IT TELLS YOU IF IT STOPS
If the connection drops, because the camera phone's battery died or the WiFi went down, your phone sounds a loud alarm. A monitor that quietly stops working is worse than none, so Nanny Cam raises an alarm rather than going dark. When the camera phone comes back, it reconnects on its own.
ALERTS THAT MEAN SOMETHING
Nanny Cam listens to your quiet room first, then alerts only on sound above it, so a fan or a noisy street does not keep waking you. Crying has to last a moment before it counts, which filters out a creaking cot or a slammed door. You choose the sensitivity, how long crying must last, and whether to be told about movement too.
SOOTHE FROM THE OTHER ROOM
Hold to talk to your baby. Play a lullaby or white noise from the camera phone with a sleep timer, or have one start by itself when crying begins. Turn on a warm night light with one tap.
EVERY NIGHT, WRITTEN DOWN
Each night is saved as a simple timeline: when your baby stirred, how long the quiet stretches lasted, and every time you soothed. In the morning you get a summary with your longest stretch of quiet.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
There is no server and no cloud. Sound and picture travel only between your two phones on your own network. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored online, and there is nothing to sign up for.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Put both phones on the same WiFi.
2. On the phone by the cot, tap Camera phone. It shows a six digit code.
3. On your phone, tap Parent phone, pick the camera phone and type the code.
Tips for a good night: keep the camera phone on a charger, and allow Nanny Cam to run without battery restrictions so your phone never pauses it.
