Narval: Salon Scheduling

About this app

Narval is a fast, calendar-first scheduling app built for the people who run service businesses — barbers, stylists, nail and brow/lash artists, massage therapists, and tattoo studios. It's the tool your team actually wants to open on a busy shift: the schedule loads instantly, booking takes one tap, and nothing gets double-booked.

Start solo, for free. Every account gets a personal calendar the moment you sign in — no setup, no org, no payment. When you're ready to run a team, create an organization and see everyone's day on one shared board, a column per employee.

WHAT YOU GET

• Shared schedule board — one clean day view with a column for each team member. The calendar is the home screen, not buried behind a dashboard.
• One-tap booking — pick a time, a person, and go. Type a client and service freely, or link them to your directory.
• Reminders that arrive — layered in-app, on-device, and push reminders so appointments don't slip. Set defaults once; override per appointment.
• No more double-bookings — overlap detection warns you the moment a slot clashes.
• Roles that match how salons work — Owner, Admin, and Member permissions, so admins run the day and members manage their own book.
• Client directory & service catalog — remember names, contact details, visit history, and your menu of services with durations and prices. Both optional.
• Change history on every appointment — see exactly who changed what.
• Works offline — your day is there without signal; changes sync when you're back.
• Built for the EU — data hosted in Germany, GDPR-native, passwordless sign-in.

WHO IT'S FOR

Solo pros who want a beautiful free calendar, and small-to-mid teams (roughly 1–25 people) who need a shared board without the cost and clutter of heavy booking platforms.

Sign in with just your email — no passwords. Your personal calendar is free forever. Team plans start with a 14-day free trial.

What’s new

• Client birthdays, new clients right from a booking, and restoring deleted clients.
• Phone numbers get a country code and are checked as you type.
• Bookings past midnight save correctly and show “+1 day”.
• Offline edits are never lost — if a booking changed meanwhile, reopen yours and choose.
• Plus fixes for time zones, syncing and sign-out.
