FAQ
Why does an offline app need internet permission?
Two reasons. The AI models (voice transcription and OCR) are downloaded once over the internet — after that they run entirely offline, even in airplane mode. Internet is also required for one-time Pro purchases through Google Play. Your notes, scans, and recordings never leave your phone. Never.
Is Notetify really free to try?
Yes. The free tier includes 10 voice transcriptions, 20 OCR scans, and 10 scanned documents — enough to get a real feel for the app before deciding on Pro.
What happens to my data if I uninstall the app?
It's gone, permanently, from your device — because it was never anywhere else. We recommend using the built-in encrypted backup feature before uninstalling if you want to keep your notes.
