About this app

Record a lecture. Noteway turns it into a transcript, notes, flashcards and a quiz.
Notes show the time in the recording, so you can check where they come from.
Recording works offline and with the screen locked.

Recording

- Your recording is saved as you go, even offline and with the screen locked.
- You see a timer while recording. There is no hidden mode.
- Mark important moments with one tap.
- When you stop, the recording uploads on its own as soon as the network is back.

Transcript

- Transcripts in any of 60 languages. Roles: Lecturer and Audience.
- The transcript may contain errors. Check them in the recording: tap the time.
- Fix a subject term once, and the fix applies across the whole lecture.

Study materials

- Concise or detailed notes. Notes carry a time that leads to the place in the recording.
- Flashcards and reviews at spaced intervals, to remember more for the exam.
- Quizzes with questions from your own lecture.
- Chat with the lecture. Each answer points to the part of the recording it comes from.
- You can dictate a question to your lecture. Speech recognition runs on your phone and the audio is not sent anywhere.
- Material is prepared by AI and may contain mistakes, so notes show their time in the recording. You report a mistake with one tap.

Subjects, timetable and exam period

- A timetable for the whole week. Add your classes once, and each recording goes to the right subject.
- Notebook shows a subject's lectures, notes and materials the way a paper notebook would.
- Exam mode plans your reviews before exam dates.
- Export of notes, transcripts and flashcards comes with Plus and the Welcome pack. A copy of all your account data is free to download.

Getting started

- A sample lecture shows notes, flashcards, a quiz and the chat before you record your first one.
- The app interface comes in 33 languages, including Polish and English.

Your data

- Before we send a recording for processing, we show which providers receive it and why. You can withdraw consent in settings.
- You delete your account and all its data inside the app.
- Recordings, transcripts and notes are private.

Before you record

Record only classes you attend, and only for your own study. Check your university rules and your lecturer's rules. If they require consent, get it before you record. Do not record exams or private conversations.

Plans

To start, you get the Welcome pack: 7 days with Plus features and up to 5 hours of transcription, no card needed. After that, stay on the free plan with limits (1 lecture with AI materials and 5 chat questions a month) or choose Plus. You can try the yearly plan for 3 days first. You will see plans and prices in the app. The minimum age depends on the country: 13 to 16, and 16 in Poland.
