OneNect is for the people closest to you. Family, friends, and the groups you actually turn up for. One app holding your people, your plans and the things you share, instead of four apps each holding a piece.
You are here because somebody added you. There is no public feed, no strangers, no follower count, and nobody can add themselves.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Share what is going on. Post a photo or a video, ask something, run a poll, and talk about it in the comments. People write in whichever language they think in, and it is translated into yours as you read it.
Keep a group together. Every group has its own feed and its own chat, so one conversation stays in one place instead of spreading across three threads.
Make a plan and find out who is coming. Put up an event, invite the people it is for, and get going, maybe or no instead of silence.
See who is who. A directory of the people you share OneNect with, a profile you fill in yourself, and a card you can hand to somebody.
Count your steps, if you want to. OneNect reads your daily step total from Apple Health or Health Connect, keeps a goal for the day and one for the year, and runs step contests between groups. It stays off until you switch it on, it only ever reads, and it never writes anything back.
Check what is actually in something. Scan a barcode and OneNect reads the ingredients against a profile you saved: your own allergies and dietary needs, a child's, a pet's, or an animal you keep.
Earn points for taking part, and spend them where the organisation you belong to puts something on the shelf. Points are a count, never a price.
Get help quickly. Hold Code Red for three and a half seconds and the contacts you chose are alerted in the app, with a link to where you are. You see who has answered, and they see the way to you.
Take a break. Breathing and grounding sessions, and short games that are there for five minutes rather than an evening.
Carry on with a bad signal. Screens you have already opened still open, and whatever you send waits and goes when the connection comes back.
WHEN A COMPANY, A CONGREGATION OR A HOUSEHOLD ADDS YOU
The same app carries three pillars on top of that, and you only ever see the one you were added to. If you belong to more than one, you switch between them.
Corp, for a company. Colleagues and the org chart, the events calendar, IT, HR and legal requests that stay open until somebody answers, a catalogue of branded material that is requested rather than bought, volunteering with company matching, near miss reporting, and a site alert an employer can send to everyone at one location, with a way to mark yourself safe so somebody knows you are accounted for.
Faith, for a congregation. Gatherings, ministries and giving, in the words that congregation already uses for itself rather than words chosen for it.
Estate, for a private household. The week, who is where, and approvals that stay on the record.
WHAT ONENECT DOES NOT DO

There is no public sign-up and no way to find a stranger. Every account arrives by invitation, from a person or from an organisation.
