About this app

Ordrett converts audio to text in Norwegian. Record directly into the app, or import an audio file you already have. You get a neat transcription with timestamps, speakers and a short summary.

The app is designed for Norwegian speech. It is suitable for interviews, meetings, lectures, notes, podcast recordings and other audio material that you would rather read than listen to again.

Accuracy is measured on real Norwegian parliamentary debates (NPSC): over 92% of the words are correctly transcribed, and 99.7% of the words are linked to the correct speaker
when "Multiple voices" is turned on. If the audio is difficult, the app marks uncertain passages, so you can see what should be checked.

You can do this:
- Record audio directly in the app
- Import an audio file
- Tap on timestamps to jump to the audio
- Turn on "Multiple voices" to distinguish between Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and more
- Read a summary with main points and any tasks
- Share the text when the transcription is ready

Privacy:
- All audio is processed in the EU
- Audio files are automatically deleted after processing
- Transcriptions are stored on your own device
- You don't need an account to get started

You can try Ordrett for free. Pro gives 8 hours per month. Pro+ gives 15 hours per
month. Subscription renews monthly and can be canceled at any time.
