About this app

OverServed is the bouncer for your phone: a pre-release Android app for local boundaries you choose before a night out.

PRE-RELEASE EARLY ACCESS

Features may be incomplete, and Android permissions or background restrictions can interrupt local enforcement. OverServed checks readiness before arming and shows a degraded state when required access is missing.

WHAT THIS BUILD DOES

READINESS — See whether Android has granted the access needed for the selected local protections before a session starts.

LAST CALL — Start a session manually and choose the apps that are off-limits. Protected phone numbers are optional alongside them; a session always includes at least one app.

CUT OFF — When readiness is complete and the session is active, selected apps get a local block screen and Android's call-redirection role handles selected outgoing calls.

THE BOUNCER — Use a local reaction gate as an extra pause before an early unlock. It is not a sobriety test, and passing it does not prove that someone is safe or unimpaired.

SLOSH CHECK — Type or paste a draft into OverServed for a local typing-pattern advisory. The app does not watch other apps, transmit the draft, or measure intoxication.

BLACKOUT SPOTTER — Schedule local check-back reminders on this device. Android may delay or suppress reminders. After three failed memory checks, Spotter attempts to arm your configured protection and reports whether that succeeded. It does not contact a buddy, collect or share location, or diagnose impairment.

MORNING AFTER — Review the local session activity and aggregates the app actually recorded.

NOT IN THIS RELEASE

• Contact removal, rewriting, snapshots, or recovery
• Geofence triggers
• Remote buddy approvals or delivered alerts
• Buddy alerts, panic delivery, or location sharing
• Billing, subscriptions, premium tiers, or share cards

BLACKOUT SPOTTER

Spotter runs best-effort local check-back reminders in this release. After three failed memory checks, it attempts to arm your configured protection and reports whether protection started. It does not contact a friend, transmit location, or confirm reminder delivery.

Spotter cannot detect drugs. Nothing on a phone can. Silence from Spotter never means you are safe. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for emergency services.

DATA BOUNDARY

This release has no OverServed account, analytics SDK, ad network, or user-data backend. Selected apps, selected phone numbers, session state, reaction results, Slosh Check input, and Morning After aggregates stay on the device. The app does not remove or rewrite contacts.

SAFETY LIMITS

OverServed is designed to exclude emergency, dialer, map, ride, and its own app paths from local app blocking. It is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee device, permission, carrier, or network availability. Do not rely on it as your only protection.

OverServed is for adults of legal drinking age.
Set local app and call limits before a night out. Early access release.
